Drop Bags and Pacers


Drop Bags

It is strongly recommended that runners who expect to finish after nightfall bring a drop bag(s) (labeled with your name and race number) with a warm shirt and a flashlight. 

Drop bag locations:

  1. Cavitt School (Start and Finish)
  2. Rattlesnake Bar
  3. Auburn Dam Overlook 


Drop bags will NOT be returned to the finish line until approximately 8:00 P.M. after the aid stations close.

Drop bags not picked up race evening will be discarded and or donated to a local charity. Please make every effort to pick yours up at the finish.

Pacers

1.      Runners in the Double Marathon may have one pacer at a time starting at the Auburn Dam Overlook Aid Station on the return trip.

2.      A pacer may also be picked up at Rattlesnake Bar aid station on the return trip. 

3.      Pacers may eat and drink from the aid station tables.  Pacers must enter and exit with their runner.  No muling is allowed.

4.      No Pacers are allowed in the Marathon or 12K.
